Jesse Edward Burrows

Jesse Edward Burrows was born on September 18, 1939, in Asheboro, NC and passed October 26, 2024 at age 85. As many friends and family, Jesse was a kind-hearted, hot rod loving man who had a soft spot in his heart for children.

As a member of the Ramblin’ Rebels Car Club for over 45 years, Jesse came to know many car lovers alike and made many long-lasting friendships along the way. Jesse served in the Air Force and later retired from IBM.

Mr. Burrows is survived by his eldest brother Joseph Burrows, sister-in-law Zelda Burrows (children: Faith Andrews and husband Walter Andrews; Merle Corbin and husband Walter Corbin), and youngest brother Charles Burrows.

Funeral Arrangements are as follows: visitation at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home at 1701 E. Millbrook Rd. in Raleigh, NC on Wednesday October 30, 2024, at 4:00pm. The funeral service will be at 5:00pm. Burial will be at Browers Chapel United Methodist Church in Asheboro, NC on Thursday October 31, 2024, at 11:00am.
