I never met Joan, but I am one of the many Trinity Members she would call to wish Happy Birthday. As someone who loves remembering Birthdays, I got a kick out of getting her calls over the years, and would also receive Birthday wishes for my children. What a wonderful ministry! I will miss her call on May 24th!

Learning of Joan's death deeply saddened me. The sadness I feel is the loss of a treasured friend who always had a loving, caring smile and good word for everyone she knew. Joan was a special friend to my mother who died in early 2018, and she dearly loved Joan. As long as she was able, Mama loved her weekly outings to the K&W with Joan and their circle of friends. Even when Mama could no longer go out on those outings, Joan would often visit or call to check on her. Joan will always be remembered as a friend to so many and one who without hesitation put others before herself. She truly exemplified a Christian life, and I will miss my good friend. I'm thankful for all the opportunities I had to share laughter and life with Joan. My condolences to her family.
