Joanne M. Seiler

Joanne was a loving friend, sister, mother and grandmother. She cared deeply, not only for her own family, but for all those she encountered throughout her life. Joanne was a stay at home mom and her greatest love was her children and her grandchildren. She was always quick to volunteer whenever she saw a need and always approached any situation with a smile. Joanne enjoyed reading and studying God’s word and spent many years teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir and serving in many capacities in her church, Mount Vernon Baptist. Her life revolved around the Lord Jesus Christ and serving Him in any way she could. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of (25 years), Louis M. Seiler. She is survived by, 3 daughters Amanda Pasnik (Jim), of Surfside Beach, SC, Paula Brown (Nelson) of St. Augustine, Fla. and Nancy Gaines (Jim) of Laurenceville, Ga. She is survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends Friday April 25, 2014 from 1:00-2:00 at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 7600 Falls of the Neuse Road, Raleigh, NC 27615. The funeral will follow at 2:00 at the church with interment to follow at the church cemetery. Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh, NC is in charge of arrangements.
