Sandi,  

I am so very saddened at the news of John's passing.  We grew up and graduated together from high school in 1964.  He was ALWAYS a kindhearted gentleman, which more people today should attempt to become.  Although we haven't seen each other in many years, we always could pick up the conversation where we left it before.  May the Grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

May God's loving kindness and comfort help you and your family through this very sad time.  Psalms 29:11

Sandi, my deepest sympathies for you and your family.  I enjoyed playing with and against John on the softball field.  He was a class act.  Prayers that God may bring you comfort.

My sincere condolences to you and your family on the passing of John. I've played softball in the 60 year old Cary Softball League for the past few years but I never had the pleasure of playing on the same team with John. However, I could see besides being an excellent pitcher, he was a  great team mate, a very pleasant man, and a pretty fierce competitor. I know the league will miss him. Hopefully knowing how much he was liked by so many people that played in the league these past few years will give you and you family comfort at this very difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear that John passed away so soon. I never played softball with him but did play against him many times as a member of the Cardinals, Rangers and Wolverines. My prayers go out to the family.

Louise and I were shocked to learn of John's passing.  We were talking recently about you and Louise teaching together and John and I playing softball together.  Also watching your 2 daughters grow up about the same time our boys were growing up.  We think about the supper club meals together in Washington and the good times we had.

John was a special guy and I cherish the times we spent together.  Praying for your family in your time of loss.
