John R. Lucas, Jr., 49, of Raleigh, NC passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, May 20, 2013. He was born on March 12, 1964 in Stanly County, NC to John R. Lucas, Sr. and Thelma Talbert Lucas.
John is a graduate of NC State University, and has lived in Raleigh for over 30 years. He worked for Sinclair Broadcasting since 1992. John loved dogs and computers. He will be remembered as a loving son and wonderful person. John will be dearly missed by everyone blessed to have known him.
John is survived by his parents, and numerous other loving family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Albemarle, NC
