Born in Danville, Virginia, Judith Melinda Harris was the daughter of Thomas B. and Clarice W. Harris. She retired in 2007 from Rex Hospital, Raleigh, NC after a forty-three year career as a Cytotechnologist.
Ms. Harris is survived by her daughter, Martha Lynn Coleman of Raleigh, NC, and her son, Jeffrey Scott Coleman (Lara), a grandson, Matthew and a granddaughter, Sara, all of Houston, TX. She is also survived by her sister, Janice H. Overbey (Jesse) of Chatham, VA, a niece, Judith Overbey, and a nephew, Dugger Overbey.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Transitions Life Care of Wake County, or a charity of your choice.
