ADD A MEMORY

January 2, 2018

Julia's legacy may contain more than just important incidents and life achievements. She mothered and raised two lovely daughters who would be a cherished legacy for any mother. Those daughters have built upon those characteristics they are now being past down to the next generation. These are the end product of a life worth living.

Julia enjoyed a full and youthful life most of her 96 years, never wanting to be a burden to others. Until the last months, she loved taking part in her children's lives, playing bridge with friends and neighbors, and traveling to the mountains in beautiful Ashe County, NC. Her loving and independent spirit will be greatly missed by all who were privileged to know her.

We were saddened to read of Mrs. Creech's passing. She will truly be missed. I am a Kinston native and worked in the concession stand (mid 50's) of the old bus station. I remember your Dad but don't recall meeting your Mom. I lived about a half block from the station on E. Caswell Street. May God be with you in your time of grief.

My deep and heartfelt sympathy for the daughters of Mrs. Creech, Judy and Holly, and to their families. Mrs. Creech was an admirable lady. I have been privileged to know her for43 years and when I think of her I am reminded of a lovely handmade gift for my first grandchild. The beautiful coverlet has been tenderly cared for and will become an heirloom for one of my grandson's children. I shall carry the memory of Mrs. Creech in a special place in my heart. God Bless all who grieve and may He ease the pain and sadness. Rest in peace in the arms of our Father, dear lady. (Mildred Fischer)
