Kathleen Virginia Harris

She was born June 19, 1925 in Stanley County, NC, to the late Clennie Rhodes Doby and Charles June Doby.

Kathleen graduated from Hugh Morrison High School and Kings Business College, then worked in several businesses including Pine State Creamery. After getting married and starting a family, Kathleen was also a loving homemaker and volunteer.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Harris, and her brother Charles Doby. She is survived by her children, Michael Harris of Raleigh, NC, Carolyn Malpass (Thomas) of Clayton NC and Susan Letchworth (Michael) of Cary, NC; grandchildren Amy Braswell (Jason), Bethany McRee (William), Hayden Letchworth, Grant Letchworth; great grandchildren, Aaron Tucker and Jett Braswell.

A graveside service for Kathleen will be held Monday, March 7, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603.
