With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Loran Cole Hicks of Raleigh, NC on March 16, 2026. Loran was a devoted family man known for his kind heart, generosity and the passion for fishing, hunting, and boating.
He is survived by Syvia Lorenz, 2 sons: Daryl and Gary Hicks, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his previous wife Wilma Hicks and by 1 great-grandchild.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A family service will be planned at a later date.
