Lorraine Isabelle Thorpe Lynch

Lorraine Isabelle Lynch “Nana”, 90, of Raleigh, NC, formerly of Endwell, NY, went home to be with her Lord as she was surrounded by her family and loved ones on April 23, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Anna Thorpe; her husband Thomas E. Lynch, Sr.; her brothers Robert and Joseph (Smokey) Thorpe; sister Vera and Rick Parker; sister- in-law Margaret and Leo Sweeney.

Lorraine is survived by her daughter Sharon A. Davis of Raleigh, NC; and son Thomas E. Lynch, Jr. (Lavana) of Vestal, NY; plus five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; Michelle and Greg Hayes (Eddie and Eric), Susan and Matthew Jarzynkowski (Kevin and Sarah), Joseph Lynch (Megan), Michael and Becky Davis (Baby Jake), and Thomas and Karrie Lynch (Quinn and Arlo); sister Sally Schmidt and sister-in-law Ruth Lynch.

Lorraine enjoyed her home and family, and cooking was her passion. She will always be remembered as a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

There will be a memorial service for Lorraine on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 11 am at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd, Raleigh. There will be a memorial service for Lorraine in Vestal, NY at a later date.
