Margaret Flanagan

Margaret Ellen Flanagan died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Rex Hospital after a brief illness. She was born July 8, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Alice Flanagan. While growing up she resided in Buffalo, NY and Montreal, Quebec, with the majority of her life being spent in Burlington, VT. In 1996 Margaret relocated to Raleigh, NC.

Margaret graduated from Trinity College in Burlington, VT and spent most of her career as a Finance Manager. She recently retired from FirstPoint Management Resources.

Margaret loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling domestically and internationally, reading, gardening, Yoga and golf. She was a former member of the Trinity College Alumni Board.

Margaret is survived by her sisters Joan Flanagan and Mary Flanagan and brother-in-law Glenn Pare. She will also be dearly missed by several cousins and friends.

A funeral mass will be celebrated to honor Margret’s life on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 11:00 am at St Raphael’s Catholic Church, 5801 Falls of Neuse Rd, Raleigh, NC.

A memorial service and burial is planned for July in Burlington, VT.
