Nell Roberta Hamilton Ward, born on October 2, 1933 in Durham, NC to Marion Davis Hamilton, and Richard Charles Hamilton, passed peacefully on Friday, February 24. She is preceded in death by her all time love of her life, Howard Sherron Ward. Also preceding her in death was her brother, Richard Charles Hamilton Jr, and her sister, Connie Hamilton Holzbach.
She is survived by her children; Bebe (Terry) Coats, and Lonnie (Joey) McNeill. Five grandchildren; Casey (Milo) Hardin, Hunter Coats, Jessica, Jodi, and Bailey McNeill. In addition, her very special, long time companions that were family to us all, Wade and Jackie Harris.
