Nellie Cutchins Lee

Nellie Cutchins Lee, 90, of Raleigh, NC, departed from this life on February 14, 2012 to make her final journey to be united with her Heavenly Father. She will be reunited with her late devoted husband of 59 years, Murrell “Bubba” Lee. After dedicating 40 years as a devoted homemaker, she retired from a successful career with The Norfolk Southern Railway. Words that best describe Nellie: kind, honest, giving, loving. She always put others first and was active in the community and her church.

She is survived by three beloved children who will cherish her memory; Robert M. Lee, Sr. wife Linda W. Lee, Raleigh; J. Randy Lee , Bunn and his daughter Kristy Lee , Cary; Carol L. Bornemeier husband Thomas H. Bornemeier , Spotsylvania VA; 5 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends Friday, February 17, 2012 from 12 noon to 2:00 pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh 27609, where funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held at Montlawn Cemetery.
