She was a selfless, caring and strong woman who never gave up. Her love for the sun and the surf made Florida and the beach her favorite places to be. She was an avid bingo player and was very passionate about her Dallas Cowboys and the Carolina Hurricanes. She had an abundance of love to give.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Ken Maldonado; daughter, Tricia Maldonado; mother, Rita Miller; sisters, Eileen Gossett and Franny Watkins; and brothers, Dan Miller, Tom Miller, Bobby Miller and Mickey Miller.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, jdrf.org, in Patricia’s honor.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday November 14, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2718 Overbrook Drive, Raleigh, NC 27608. Her family will receive friends following the mass in the Fallon Center.
