

Paul Peter Engasser, age 85, of Youngsville, NC passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026.
Paul was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 30, 1941. At the age of 17, he enlisted in the Navy, serving on the USS Borie. He served during peacetime for 5 years, ending during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
He worked for Northrop Grumman Aerospace for 35 years. He worked on projects such as the module for Apollo 13 and the F14 Tomcat. After retiring from Northrop Grumman, he had a successful business painting and renovating houses.
Paul met his wife Patricia in 1989, and they were married in 1996.
He loved to spend time outdoors fishing, boating, and gardening. He named his favorite boat “Two Hearts” as a representation of the love he shared with Patricia.
He always liked to have a good time and enjoy life. He had a great persona and sense of humor. He loved a good movie night and popcorn when he wasn’t on his boat.
He always went out of his way to provide for his family and would do anything for the people that he loved.
Paul is survived by his wife of 30 years, Patricia; his daughters, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents and brother and sister.
A visitation will be held on June 30, 2026, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 East Millbrook Road in Raleigh, NC.
Burial will be held on July 1, 2026, at 11:00 am at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Ave in Raleigh, NC.
