Randel Lee Cohee

He served in the Marine Corp and Navy between 1969-1972. He was awarded a few medals for his service. While in the Marines, he was a postal clerk during his stay in Vietnam. When Randy enlisted in the Navy, he was stationed on the USS Independence where he assisted medical personnel in the triage unit. Randy was honorably discharged.

Randy spent many years in Baltimore, MD. He was a telephone operator. He enjoyed cooking and worked in the restaurant business for a few years. Randy and Jack met one night at a nightclub and stayed together until his passing. They were together for at least 25 years and enjoyed working together at Kanki Japanese House of Steak and Sushi at North Market, going to casino boats in Little River, SC and league bowling. They stayed together in the same apartment at the Oaks for 20 years, where Randy enjoyed gardening and planted colorful plants and flowers in a little garden spot at the apartment.

A Graveside Service, with Military Honors, will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 10 am at Raleigh Memorial Park.
