My thoughts and prayers are with you all.  Your mother was a special person - a true southern lady.  I'll never forget when she came to Postelle's funeral, she whispered in my ear "we have lost two good men."  Well, we have lost one good lady!  I'll never forget her wonderful laugh. Dear Andrea, Melanie, and K-Dee,
Our hearts ache for your loss. You girls were everything to your mother- her reason for living, her outlet for giving, and of course her focus for loving. She was giving and loving to all her family of friends, and we were lucky enough to count ourselves part of that family. We leaned on her for her understanding, acceptance, and sense of humor every Thursday night. I called your mom often for advice or just to vent frustration. She always listened with that special section of her heart that accepted your feelings no matter what words you used to express them. What a gift! I will forever try to be more like her. We will forever miss her. Please keep us posted on the health and well-being of your families. We got a loving report on all of you every Thursday night and we will miss that too.

We're so sorry that we couldn't speak personally today at the church, but hopefully you all know that we loved Regina with all our hearts and she was especially missed after we moved.  You knew you were going to have a great day if you saw Regina with that beautiful smile on her face first thing in the morning.  She made everthing so special; the laughs, the talks, the parties...  I have personally missed hearing her say James Mills you're going to fall off of that roof (at christmas)    One of us always whistled if we saw here out on her walk, and she was always available if you needed to talk.  We are just so privileged to have known Regina and her bright light will be in our hearts and minds forever.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and your families

My condolences go out to all the family during this time. A wonderful lady and a great friend. It was an honor to share the same dinner table with her each Wednesday at Trinity. Precious conversations, and I'll always remember that distinctive laugh.  My prayer for each of you..........May the memories of good times, and the promise of eternal life, give you peace and comfort. God bless you.

It is with great sadness and fond memories that I hear the news of your mother's passing.  You described her perfectly and the picture of her is so beautiful.  I worked with Regina at Miller & Rhodes for many summers and breaks from college and she was so sweet and kind to me.  I regret that I am unable to attend her funeral but you all are in my prayers. I met Ms. Conner long ago at the Elks Lodge with Melanie and Dan Campbell.  I was so impressed as she was one of those people who stands out as an example to all. She was such an attractive lady with a real presence that you could not help but notice. I always remembered her, and am sending my sincere condolences to the family in the loss of such a wonderful mother and friend.

What a beautiful obituary. How I admired Regina Conner! She will be missed.

 I am at a loss for words as I write this entry, but at the same time I can't help but to reflect on the happy and fun times we had at the Conner get-togethers.  I vividly remember Uncle Billy and Aunt Regina dancing at the Christmas parties hosted by Annie and Charles. Billy had been talking about he and Regina going out dancing, so when someone started playing some fast music, Billy and Regina took to the floor dancing the jitterbug!! My, how they put Uncle Bobby and sister Jennifer and other partners to shame! But now, Uncle Billy and Aunt Regina  continue to dance and love one another in Heaven as well as watch over you guys in your everyday lives. In the weeks and months to come, continue to reflect on the many memorable and wonderful times you shared as a family. Billy and Regina would want that. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

What a blessing for me to have known Mrs. Conner!!!  Thank you!   Sending much love to her family.

To the family of my BEST Friends, my heart hurts for everyone!  I have such good memories of GiGi!   Such a loving, vibrant, graceful women she was!  RIP sweet lady, we will alway remember you and your wonderful SMILE and presence!

Dear Conner Family, all--In moving back to my former home in North Hills, a new day is dawning, with the persistent demolition of the real estate that our parents chose to be our safe dwellings-- along with the trees that shaded them. It's not always easy living here, with so many cherished memories of a time gone by, but your mom's presence here has cast encouragement and happiness for me, within the burgeoning unfamiliarity of the new NH. I was blessed to encounter your precious mom, when we were both out walking the NH sidewalks, years ago, and what amazed me was just how gorgeous, young and vibrant she was--in every aspect. It felt like time had somehow rewound while we stood there, sharing and reminiscing. I continued to run into your mom on our walks--her pace was impressively fast and determined, and that trademark walking gait of hers, now sealed in my memory. It was comforting to both run into her and imagine her still living here in her new home, surely immersed in a beautifully full life that she created and sustained. I last ran into her at Food Lion. We had exchanged hellos while in the store, but once in the parking lot, as I loaded my purchases into my car, she went out of her way to say something really kind to me, and I whenever I think of her I will always see her that day--so exceedingly beautiful, so vital, so plugged-in and so incredibly thoughtful. As I walked past her lovely home yesterday, I just could not process that she will not be returning to everything she had created and enjoyed there, from the charming bird bath to the way she had lovingly placed her wrought iron bench. The only thoughts to help now are first, that she departed as she did and second, that there is absolutely no doubt about where she is now. Heaven just welcomed another angel.

What a beautiful testament to the life of a beautiful person the obituary for Regina is. I can hear her laughter now. My prayers are with all of you ; she will always be remembered with a smile  by those of us who were fortunate to know her. May those memories bring comfort to all of you in the future.

My heart is broken, Mrs. C. was such a special person and always found room in her heart for me.  I have many fond memories of seeing her at Elon and at her home in Raleigh!  May you rest in peace!  Love, Leigh
