Regina Sisinni Propes

Regina Sisinni Propes, 59, of Wake Forest, NC, went home to the Kingdom of Heaven on March 12, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. Regina truly lived her life as she wanted to be remembered, bringing laughter and warmth to all those who were blessed to know her. A consummate crocheter, avid feeder-of-all-birds, and a beloved Wife, Mother and Nonnie, devoted to spoiling her Grandchildren, Regina’s innate gift of giving selflessly radiated through her words and deeds.

Born in Pearl River, New York in 1964 to Regina Veronica Sisinni and Santo Paul Sisinni, Regina always spoke fondly of her childhood home, friends, neighBORs, and her days as a cadet in the marching band. After relocating to Raleigh, NC in 1988, her involvement in the Catholic community, specifically the churches of Our Lady of Lourdes, where her two eldest children attended school, St. Francis of Assisi, where she and her parents were active members for years, and St. Raphael Catholic Church and School, where she worked as the school’s receptionist, thoroughly enjoying her fellowship with the staff and students she so adored, resulted in many long-lasting friendships and countless hearts touched by her loving existence. Regina’s constant kindness, amazing sense of humor, and contagious laugh will be missed by many.

Regina has been reunited with those who passed before her, including her parents, Regina and Santo Sisinni, and her sister, Laura Sisinni Mirande, all of whom she has greatly missed. She is survived by her loving husband, Drew Propes of Wake Forest, NC, son Michael Stehlik, Jr., (Brandi) of Youngsville, NC, daughter Samantha Levey (Ben) of Wendell, NC, son Adam Propes, and daughter Brooke Propes both of Wake Forest, NC; and her beloved Grandchildren, Mason, Natalie, Carter and David, as well as her brothers Peter Sisinni (Nancy) of Macon, GA, and Christopher Sisinni of New Bern, NC.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, 5801 Falls of Neuse Rd., Raleigh, NC 27609 at 10:00 am on Monday, March 21st, followed by a reception.
