Reginald Lanty (Reggie) White, age 48, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Duke Raleigh Hospital after a sudden and brief illness. He was born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina to the late Hilton M. (Whitey) White and Jeanne C. White. Reggie was a graduate of Perquimans County High School and attended East Carolina University. He enjoyed a successful, life long career in the luxury jewelry industry where he held positions in sales at Bailey's Fine Jewelry and most recently, at Finks Jewelers. Throughout his career, Reggie received numerous industry awards and accolades. But more importantly to him, he treasured the lifelong friendships he established with his Patrons and other professionals within his industry.
Predeceased by his parents and his brother in law, Douglas Stallings, Reggie is survived by his sister, Dianne Stallings of Hertford, N.C. Brother, David White of Tucker, Ga., nephews, Tim Phelps and wife Courtney, Graham White and Colin White. Niece, Jovan Stallings Ward and husband Quincy. He is also survived by special great nieces and nephews, Aunts and Uncle, numerous cousins and many friends. All will remember Reggie for his quick wit, hearty laugh and sincere love and care for family and friends.
