Roger William Oates

Roger had an extensive career in the decorative products industry working as an executive in Marketing, Sales, and Business Development for Armstrong World Industries (flooring div.), Mannington Mills, Wilsonart Flooring, Omnova Solutions, and Vescom America. He loved the Steelers, golf, and cars. He was a natural public speaker who could make any room start laughing.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Bhattacharya; daughters, Sydney and Sofia; brother, Randall Oates; sister, Judy Kreger; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn W. and Eleanor (Johnson) Oates.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Friday, June 17, 2016 at Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church, 7506 Falls Of Neuse Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
