Sandra Morgan

Sandra Lichte Morgan (Sandy), 75, passed away on Thursday, March 2nd in Raleigh, NC. She was born in Irumagawa, Japan to USAF LTC Jack Rowley Lichte, Sr and Anita Lichte Kleban. Sandra was raised in Starkville, Mississippi and attended Mississippi State University. She worked in administrative roles prior to becoming the business manager for Morgan Appraisers. Her most cherished roles were that of a loving wife, supportive mother, "grandmommy," and caretaker of her beloved dog Abby.

Sandra is survived by her 3 children, Winston Thomas Morgan, Jr (Leslie), Kelly Barnes (Ken), and Christina Weaver (Scott), and eight grandchildren, Morgan Barnes, Grace Morgan, Parker Barnes, Emily Ruth Morgan, Walker Barnes, Matthew Weaver, Winston Morgan III, and Emma Weaver. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jack R. Lichte Junior, as well as her husband of 50 years, Winston Thomas Morgan.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Bay Leaf Baptist Church, 12200 Bayleaf Church Rd, Raleigh, NC 27614 on Thursday, March 9. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary; a burial will follow at Bay Leaf Cemetery.
