Scott William Brown

A celebration of life for Scott will be held Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 East Millbrook Road, Raleigh, NC 27609.

Scott William Brown passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Thursday May 8th 2025. He was born in Salem, MA and was a long-time resident of Wake Forest NC. He is survived by his sister Laurie A Farwell, nephew Ryan Farwell and niece Megan Garagiola. Scott is predeceased by his parents, Ralph W Brown and Patricia A Brown, his brother Gary J Brown, grandparents Wilfred and Irene Landry and Ralph and Clara Brown.

Scott graduated from Sanderson High School in Raleigh NC and explored many jobs in the Raleigh area, always wanting to work and stay busy. He could easily strike up a conversation, and was always looking for a way to help people which made him excellent at customer service.

Scott had a passion for music and his ear buds were always listening to something good. He had amazing taste in local art, coffee shops and listening to local bands and of course enjoying a cold Budweiser! He loved writing poetry; fishing and making his own flies as a hobby.

We will miss his huge heart, sweet demeanor and wicked sense of humor. Scott’s family would like to thank all the friends and neighbors that helped him during challenging times.
