Shirley Ann Pershing

Shirley, as the owner of a Baskin-Robbins franchise, was one of the original tenants of Crabtree Valley Mall from 1972 until her retirement.

Shirley’s family envisions her sitting at a table with her four siblings and being served Grandma Williams famous fried chicken. They are once again enjoying one another’s company.

Shirley is survived by her children; Gail Pershing Scheck (Dan), Alan Lee Pershing (Kim); her grandchildren, whom she adored; Taylor Elizabeth Pershing (Nick), Russell Harrison Pershing,(Grammy-approved girlfriend, Mackenzie); former husband, Harold P. Pershing; and many wonderful friends and neighbors.

The service will be held Saturday November 1st 2025 at North Raleigh United Methodist Church at 11:30am followed by a lunch in the fellowship hall. 8501 Honeycutt Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615.
