Steven Anthony Christos

Steven Anthony Christos {1990-2015} passed away Friday evening 2 October 2015, the results of complications resulting from his life long struggle with epilepsy. Steven was born in Raleigh, NC and was the youngest son of Vickie & Greg Christos. Steven was a graduate of Wakefield High School and attended UNC Greensboro. While pursuing a Nursing Degree, Steven worked full time at WakeMed.

Steven embraced and loved life and never allowed the ever present struggle with his epilepsy to slow him down. His kind, fun-loving personality made it so Steven never met a stranger. Steven is survived by his mother, father and four loving siblings. He always looked up to his nurturing oldest sister Nicole, while never far from the constant protective overwatch of his big brother Michael, and provided many fond memories for his younger sisters Gabrielle and Isabella.

Steven will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is proceeded in death by his YiaYia Olga D Christos, his grandfathers Stratos Christos, John P Booker and Berry Boykin and his Uncle Jimmy Christos. He is survived by Vickie Christos, Greg & Deborah Christos, sister and brother in law Nicole & Edward Proctor and niece Blair Proctor, brother Michael & his fiancé Casey Abbott, younger sisters Gabrielle & Isabella and grandmothers Patrica Booker and Catherine Boykin as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held Tuesday October 6th from 5-7pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home 1701 East Millbrook Road. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday October 7th at 11am, at the funeral home.
