Susan Marie Clark

Susan was born September 15, 1936 in Atlantic City, NJ to Frederick Edwin Reiber and Mary Louise Reiber (nee Fritz). Sue worked for Wake County Public Schools as both Wake County Art Supervisor and an Elementary Art Educator for over 35 years. Her love of life was ever present in her travels, her art, her church life, her brilliant wit, and time spent with good friends, good wines, and, always, her family.

Susan was preceded in death by her mother and father.

She is survived by her daughters, Christina C. Baldowski of Wake Forest and Elizabeth (Betsy) C. Castle of Jacksonville as well as two grandchildren; Florence E. Castle and Susannah P. Castle. Her sister, Joan Walker and her three children, Andrew, Scott, and Brian Walker also survive her.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Our Savior Lutheran Church; 1500 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27608. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall.
