Suzanne is survived by her daughters; Karen Garbarino and husband, Tom, Janet Hammond and husband, Paul, six grandchildren, and her loyal canine companion, Rocky.
She enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, and reading. Suzanne also was grateful for the many friends she made at Whispering Pines Assisted Living. She had a love for the Phillies and the Eagles. She was a die hard Philadelphia sports fan and watched football and baseball as often as she could.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh.
