I decided to look Bill up one day after we lost touch and discovered this horrid news. My heart goes out to everyone who Bill touched. I met Bill at the GameStop in the mall, and he invited me to hang out on several occasions. He held onto a Wii for me in the days when it was constantly selling out. And after I drank too much at a St. Patrick's Day party, he let me crash on his couch and made me pancakes in the morning. He was a real class act, a genuine guy who loved his dog and games. I'll fondly remembering playing Wario Smooth Moves with him, and I regret the memories I didn't get to make with him.

Bill and I lost touch a few years ago but he was such a good friend for a brief time in my life that the loss still hurts deeply. Bill and I met working at the Olive Garden in WI and soon became very good friends, college buddies, and then roommates. My favorite picture of Bill was the back of his head while playing video games because that is how he spent most days/nights of those years as roommates. Who could blame him with three twenty-something female roommates that brought craziness into his life like he never saw? (But in our defense, he brought a bass guitar into our lives that he played at all hours of the night. The neighbors hated us!). We shared some of the best memories of our young lives together and I am forever grateful for that time. I am happy to see his smile in the photos of the years to follow. To his sisters – He always spoke about you and was a VERY proud older brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. For the few years that Bill and I worked together he was always a great friend. He was always there to provide a witty comment and most of all he was inviting and accepting. His humor kept me sane on some of those rough days on the job. I will never forget playing crappy games with you until the wee hours just so we could improve our gamer score. I only met Billy a few times but his warm and larger than life personality was infectious. Watching him with his sister, Annie, was watching true sibling concern and love.

I always saw Billy with Annie and Sara at family parties at Lynne and Bart's house. They were 3 Little Musketeers..always together :)  Billy was a sweet Son-Brother-Nephew-Cousin-Friend that will be missed by all.

On behalf of our family I wanted to thank you all for your kind words and thoughts of my son. Your friendship and love with his family meant a great deal to him and to me. Please know he suffers no more from a horrible disease and is in heaven beating all commers in video games. We loved him dearly and will remember his infectious sense of humor. We know we will be with him again in a better place.

My memories of Billy are of happy family times. Watching him play and interact with his sisters and family. I was always so happy to see him. My prayers go out to the Wilson family. He will be so missed but will be in our hearts forever.

Bill and I butted heads more than a few times, some of it was work and some of it was personal. I think that we were more alike than I liked to admit. We were friends during a time when I did a lot of growing and he was a big part of that. Bill was always ready with a joke or a dose of sarcasm (which he seemed to think were the same thing), he was fun and infuriating, he was stubborn and loyal, he treated his friends like family and he'd have your back when you needed him. I think that Bill will be missed by more people than he could've realized.

I remember Billy as being someone who was easy to be around and a genuinely nice guy. Too soon, too early, too young... I am so, so sorry.

He was a friend, co-worker and employee. I'd like to personally thank everyone for the calls and emails of support. The one comment that I've heard from a couple of people was – “I wasn't aware that he was sick”. For Bill this might be the greatest compliment I've ever heard.

Two years ago it was apparent that Bill was not well. He struggled to make it to work, his personality was downhearted and his life had stalled. He talked, I listened and he changed. Each day he became a stronger worker and positive person. He became such an asset to the company that he was promoted to Sales Engineer and traveled the states speaking on our products. His personality began to shine as he mentored some and pulled pranks on others. Within just two years Bill become the person to be and learn from.

Bill went out on top and he only let a few of us ever see how sick he was. Each day we are given a choice or road to take. I hope we all can learn from Bill and stay as positive as we can with all of life's adversities.

You are all in my thoughts during this difficult moment of your lives.

Sometimes words just aren't enough. He could always find a joke or whitty comment to lighten a serious mood. He made life fun. Some very good, and favorite memories were just sitting in his living room watching him play video games. The road trip to Raleigh. And the many game nights we all had with the "GameStop crew"  He will be missed. My thoughts and love are with you all.

I have so many memories from Billy in Wisconsin. He was always sweet and kind and made me laugh.  I can remember being wowed by his Nintendo skills when he showed me the super boost in mario kart. He was such a cool older brother to Sara and Annie. As we got a little older I remember going to the Olive Garden and hoping to see him. I was always so happy to see him there or at family gatherings. The world has lost a radiant soul. I miss him. Sending prayers to guide him to peace. Love and prayers to the Wilson's, Gaffney's and everyone who was blessed to have Billy in their lives.

My memories of Billy are happy times, family get together s. He was so funny, kind and gentle.

We are devastated to lose our Billy Bob so suddenly. He was a great kid that loved his family and loved to have fun. He was a sweet and gentle soul that will be greatly  missed but live in our hearts forever .  Lovingly, Uncle Bart(UB) and Aunt Lynne

Lynne ( aunt Lynne) and ( uncle Bart ) are sitting here in disbelief. The photos remind us of so many great times. One of my best memories is when the three children were able to live with us for a short time. Oh and the dog Sadie.
Life is short and if this shortened life doesn't remind people that we need to keep family close I don't know what will.
I will always remember Billy as the older brother who watched over his sisters.

I knew him as a child and he was a bubbly energic toddler, full of curiosity and wonder for this world.
