

Mr. William Glenn Stoffregen, 50, of Raleigh, died Monday at Rex Intensive Care Unit. A Raleigh native, he was born at Rex Hospital on July 17, 1961 and grew up working in the family business. He was Vice President of Homewood Nursery and took great pride in his role there.
Glenn attended Raleigh Academy and Hale High School. He also attended NC State University for two years. An active member of Crossroads Fellowship, he was very involved in helping with the audio/visual tech team of his church and also enjoyed serving there as an usher. Having a heart for spreading the gospel worldwide, he served on short term mission trips to the Dominican Republic, South Korea, the Philippines, Hawaii, and China.
Glenn is survived by his parents Bill and Peggy Stoffregen; his brother Joe and his wife Myra Leigh and their children Olivia, Sam, and John Stoffregen all of Raleigh, NC.
Memorials may be made in Glenn’s memory to Crossroads Fellowship Missions Fund. The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Crossroads Fellowship, 2721 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh, NC 27604.
