Willie S. Lee, 82, of Raleigh, NC, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018. He was born in Johnston County, NC on December 5, 1935 to Willie Green Lee and Neva Blanch Norris Lee. Mr. Lee was a graduate of NC State University and a veteran of the US Army. He was a business owner and partner of Environmental Industries and Eastern Technical Associates in Raleigh for 28 years.
In addition to his parents, Willie was preceded in death by his son, Dale Lee. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Laverne Lee; sister, Joyce Moran; children, Teresa Lee Hoey and Scott Lee and wife, Karen; and grandchildren, Cara and Maggie Hoey and Avery and Allison Henning.
A memorial service will be held 1:00pm Monday, April 16th at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh, NC 27609. Immediately following the service the family will receive friends. Afterward, inurnment service will be held at 3pm at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27612.
