Dear Mary - Just heard about Dick's "graduation" and are so sorry we missed the funeral. Since first meeting Dick at the weekly Bible studies at Met-Ed until the fun exchanges we had in later years, we always considered him one very special person! We can only imagine the void in your life, but know too that we all will meet again in heaven where the good times (without age and physical infirmity) will never end. God Bless you.

I only met Mr.and Mrs. Dickinson one time. That was 10 years ago at settlement on their house in West Reading. When I heard of Mr.Dickinson's passing, I felt compelled to go to his funeral. After hearing his family recall their memories of him and their experiences at the house in West Reading, I couldn't get over a few similarities I have with him. From working for a power company, being a councilman for the borough, attending the Promise Keepers event at RFK stadium, playing ball in the yard with my sons, and being involved with crime watch. But most of all, continuing the love of family in the house. I've heard nothing but good things about you sir so I know heaven is a better place with you in it. May God bring comfort to your family. "PRAISE THE LORD"!

It has been a long time since I was at your house but I remember all the hospitality from you all growing up. May God receive the soul of Mr. Dickinson and bless and console Mrs. Dickinson.  I especially pray that his children are consoled and take with them good and fond memories of their dad. God bless and console Dave and his family. We spent many fun. foolish, and profound times together as boys. Time and distance has separated us but may God bless you in your loss.  You were a loyal friend. Your dad was a good man.

Dear Mary, 
        We are so sorry to hear of the passing of this dear man of God! He was a wonderful person to know - so very welcoming and always happy to see you. He brought joy to our hearts with his clear-as-a-bell, unreserved shout-out of "Praise the Lord" at the most appropriate times in a sermon! His contributions and presence at St. James Church will long be remembered with great fondness. 
         
         We're asking the Good Lord to bring you comfort and peace, knowing that he is safely home in the arms of Jesus. We hope it helps to know that you are not mourning alone. But we have a great hope that we will be reunited when it's our turn to go to be with Jesus. What a happy thought that we'll be "praising the Lord" together for all eternity.

My prayers go out to Mary and the Family. Dutch will be greatly missed. He was such a great peer to all. I loved to talk with Dutch, he had such wisdom and had a way of sharing with out any judgement. He was a blessing that everyone will miss. "Praise the Lord."
