Anna M. DeRita Drury, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on July 21, 2026.
Anna was born on October 14, 1950, in Butler, Pennsylvania, to Dorothy L. DeRita and Angelo L. DeRita. She spent her early years in Butler before her family relocated to California, where they settled near Cupertino. Anna and her family moved to Red Bluff in 1985, where she raised her children and made it her long time home.
In the spring of 1964, Anna met the love of her life, Michael Drury. Their relationship began as teenagers and grew into a remarkable love story that spanned 61 years—four years of courtship followed by 57 years of marriage. They were married on June 28, 1969, and together built a life centered on love, faith, and family.
Anna and Michael were blessed with four children: Brian, Tim, Laura, and Deanna. Their family continued to grow with the addition of twelve cherished grandchildren: Mitchell, Keith, Bode, Allyson, Jordyn, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Cassandra, TC, Dylon, Aubree, and Jackson.
Anna was an extraordinary wife, a devoted mother, and a loving grandmother. Her family was the center of her world, and she dedicated her life to supporting, encouraging, and caring for those she loved. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
The loss of Anna leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of her family and friends. Her love, guidance, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed every day. While words cannot fully express the impact she had on those around her, her legacy will live on through the family she loved so completely.
A celebration of Anna’s life will be announced at a later date.
