Douglas Milton Pruitt

Douglas “Doug” Milton Pruitt, peacefully passed away at home on February 24th, 2024 at the age of 55. Born on August 9th, 1968 in Daly City, CA. Doug relocated to Redding with his family at the age of nine. He graduated from Mercy High School in 1987.

Doug began a fulfilling career as a truck driver in 2006, dedicating 18 years to his profession. He had a deep passion for vintage cars and a love for all things food. He also found joy in building and collecting model cars. Doug was an active member of the North State Modelers Club and the Redding Shasta Cascade Regional Horseless Carriage Club.

Preceded in death by his mother Marion Pruitt, his father Milton Pruitt, and brother David Pruitt. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Lori Pruitt, and their three children: Jasmine, Sara, and Conner. Additionally, Doug is remembered by his three grandchildren, Jacob, Taylynn, and Ellee. As well as his niece Daniel, nephew Nicholas, and great-nephew Steve.

A celebration of Doug's life is scheduled for April 7th, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Red Bluff Community Center located at 1500 S Jackson St. Red Bluff, CA 96080.
