Florene Sketoe Ault

Born November 2, 1934 in Sheridan, Arkansas to Enoch and Othel Sketoe, Florene excelled in school, and was named Salutatorian of her graduating class. She married William “Bill” Ault on May 23, 1952, and moved to California-first living in Vina, and later moving to Red Bluff where they raised four boys. Florene worked for the District Attorney’s Office and later for many years at PG&E where she formed many lasting friendships.

After retirement, Florene and Bill traveled across the country visiting family, and seeing new places. They enjoyed traveling in their motorhome and spent many years crossing our great country.

Florene was preceded in death by her loving husband Bill in 2000 and her brother Dr. James Sketoe (Eva) of Lake St. Louis, Missouri in 2012. She is survived by her sister Dee Givins (Roy), sons David Ault (Liz), Larry Ault, Wayne Ault (Lori) and Steven Ault (Dana). Grandchildren Sarah Fawnsworth (James), Justin Ault (Melissa), Brittney Ault, Eric Ault, Sara Ault and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Hoyt Cole Chapel of the Flowers, Red Bluff at Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 10:00am. Burial will follow the service on Tuesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Red Bluff. Visitation will be Monday evening between 5:00pm and 8:00pm.
