Gwendolyn Coriene Shults

Gwendolyn Coriene Shults passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022, in her home at the age of 95. She was born on November 22, 1926, in Red Bluff, CA to Harold Rogers and Goldie Bloxham. She lived her whole life in Red Bluff. She married her husband Donald Shults in 1941. A few years later, they had three children, two daughters and one son. Gwen worked for the Red Bluff Union School District as a cook for 17 years. Gwen loved to cook, have Christmas parties, camping, fishing, baking, doing crossword puzzles, gardening and attending rendezvous. Gwen loved to put on her dancing shoes, and go dancing on Wednesday and Thursday nights. She also loved the color "Red."

Gwen is survived by her sister Janice Khun, Daughter Joyce Little, and daughter-in-law Rose Shults.

She had 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildern, and even great-great-grandchildren. And, was also loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful long-time friends.

Gwen was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Shults, Mother, Goldie Bloxham, Father, Harold Rogers, Sister, Joann Dorrell, Brother, Billy Rogers, Grandparents, Zellar Bloxham, Iva Bloxham, George Rogers and Cora Mae Rogers, son, Wayne Shults, Daughter, Nancy Spangle, and great-grandson, Jace Vaillette.

A graveside service will be held on June 10, 2022 at 10:00 am at Oak Hill Cemetery, Red Bluff, CA.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Grange Hall located at 20794 Walnut Street, Red Bluff, CA.
