I went to school with Delos and Mike in 1960 in Oshkosh WI.  The family moved during the school year and I never heard from them or could find where they went.   Over the years I tried to find the brothers but with no luck.   
I asked the reunion committee about Mike and Delos but neither had graduated there in 1964.   I left a note I was looking for them and finally gave up ever finding either of them. 
This past June I got a note from Mike.  He had looked there to see if he knew anyone and if he could find me.   He actually paid $20 for a membership to get my email.  We exchanged a couple of long letters and pictures and then I received a letter that he was dying.  He never contacted me again.  I sent a letter to him this past week and when I still didn't hear I did a search and found this page.  
We had so much we were going to talk about and never had a chance.  He was going to tell me about his sons, grandchildren,  and great-grandchildren.  I don't even know your names. 
I know he was very proud of all of you.   I am so sorry for your loss.   I wish I could have met you and gotten to see pictures of you.  But I live in Sweden now so that wouldn't have happened.  I was looking forward to the pictures and knowing more about everyone.   I will light a candle on the 24th and remember the sweet young man I knew back in a time that was so different than now.
