Patricia Kennedy, 75, of Red Bluff, passed away on November 9, 2018 at home surrounded by her family and friends. Services will be held at Hoyt-Cole Chapel of the Flowers on December 1st, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Patricia was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on February 6, 1943 to Paul & Ruth Critchlow. She was happily married to John Patrick O'Donnell in 1970 and later divorced and remained lifelong friends. She then married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life Sarge (James) Kennedy Jr. on November 5, 1988, they remained married just over 25 years until he passed away. She remained in love and mourning until the day she died. She is survived by her sister Ruth Atkinson, brother Charles Critchlow, three daughters, Dayna Hardee, Joy O'Donnell, Jennifer McGregor, 2 grandchildren Jacob Hardee and Sean McGregor, and her forever nurse (and good friend), Crystal Carter. She was preceded in death by her husband Sarge Kennedy and her twin brother Peter Critchlow. She worked in the medical field as both a cardiac tech and secretary. She was very active in her community whenever given the chance and served as both a hospice volunteer and voting precinct officer. She not only donated money to causes important to her (which is the easy way out) she also devoted her time and all her heart to those she helped in life. As a top fundraiser she raised tens of thousands of dollars and walked hundreds of miles for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society while participating several times in the annual 3 Day 50 Mile MS Challenge Walk. As said by her daughter Joy she had an intuition for the special qualities in every person she met-when she met people who couldn't see those things for themselves she held up a mirror and kept on showing them their best versions of themselves until they saw it too. She did it in a kind and gentle way and was brilliant at it.
