On December 3, 2022, Victor Dale Konig went to sleep in Jesus. He was 81 years old. Born and raised in Cypress, California, he served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1964-1966 at Danang Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan. He worked at Disneyland twenty two years and even enjoyed fishing with Walt in the "Big River." He married the love of his life, Paula, in 1972. They lived in Cypress, California where they raised a family. He was an officer of the Elks Lodge and a 32nd degree Mason. They moved to Red Bluff in 2012, to be near his life long friend, Tom Robertson. Victor is survived by his wife of fifty years, Paula Konig, daughter Kimberly, son Tyler, son-in-law Adam, grand children Hope, Justice, Grace and Mercy, his church family at Sabbath Community Christian Church, his "Bonus Family," the Nystroms, as well as great friends too numerous to count.
