I am so sorry to hear of Celia's passing.  I had the honor of working with Celia at Buckeye Middle School.  She was a true professional...she put her heart and soul into her job making sure that all of her students had the support they needed to be successful.  She made a difference in so many lives.  I enjoyed many lunches with her, Lily, and Brenda in the library.  She was a very special lady and will be missed by so many people.  

I loved working with Celia. She loved to laugh and therefore made the rest of us laugh. 

One morning she didn’t show up to work and no phone call. We knew something wasn’t right. Lilian Hernandez and I drove up to Celia’s home and started yelling as we walked around the house. We heard Celia’s voice coming through the tiny bathroom window. The door between her bathroom and bedroom had become locked from both sides somehow. She was locked in her bathroom. Oh goodness, we giggled. She told us how to get in and get tools from the garage. Lily and I took the door off it’s hinges. There sat Celia in her robe. She was so thankful. It was Friday and she was afraid she’d be stuck in there all weekend. 

She was a character, and my life is better having known her!!

Celia and I worked at Buckeye Middle School. We had lunch together all the time. We had so much fun laughing about what ever we would be talking about! We had such a good time going to Bunco parties together. She couldn’t drive at night so I would pick her up, go to the parties and I would take her home. She was such a great person and friend. I will miss you sweet lady!

Celia was a gift to all of us who knew and loved her. I will always have fond memories of Celia - her kind generosity, her graciousness and her quick smile. She was very fun to be with and always kind to me. 
I am very saddened by the loss of Celia and we all miss her. 
May we find peace in the wonderful memories of Celia that we hold in our hearts.

I am so sorry to hear about Celia’s passing.  Although I never had The opportunity to get real well acquainted with her I immediately knew she was a person I would call my friend.  She married a young man my husband and I went through school with and we had such a good time when ever we got together and I could see then that she was an exceptionally outstanding woman.  I pray for peace and comfort for her family.

Aunt Celia memories...   Beautiful, exotic, accent, sense of humor, loving, best mother, grandmother, wife, girlfriend, aunt, sister, cousin.  A person you admired who you loved being around. She made you feel special. Taco feeds..  Best laugh. Lived life to the fullest. Lived life with grace.  Miss you.

I have so many memories of Celia I will cherish forever. Her beauty, grace, laughter, kind heart and loving ways. She was such a great lady in so many ways. She loved her family dearly. I remember how hard my brother fell for her and how lucky he was to have her in his life for 31 years. She was always so full of life, it’s hard to believe she has left us. She put on amazing taco feeds and taught me how to make the best baked beans which our whole family now calls “Celia Beans.” The last time I saw her out was at my surprise birthday party in McCloud. I could tell she was not feeling well then. I am glad she is at peace now. Sending much love to all the family. Losing your mother is the hardest life event. 

Celia will be missed so much. She was so loved by all that knew her. So sorry she is gone. Still hard to believe. Micah and Susan,you took good care of her and she loved you both and was a very loving Grandmother. We shall miss her and her specialness. We all loved her and we will remember her always as a wonderful loving person.

I never got a chance to properly thank you for all the love and support over the years.  Thank you for giving the most important gift I could have ever wanted.  The love of my life, my wife, my best friend, the mother of my children... your daughter.

Many, many, many times in just awe how in gods good name that when Dennis drove his vet (top down), Celia would get out, pull her hat off & I swear not a hair out of place.  It truly baffled all of us how this was possible.  To this day it still makes me smile.  I will miss her kind heart. 


My dear Aunt Celia or as I affectionately called you Aunt SaSa. I will miss you so much. I've known you my whole life and you had such a profound impact on me. You were beauty and grace personified.  Also a very gifted cook. Your tacos can't be topped!  You truly were one of my favorite people on the planet! Heaven has received a beautiful angel and you will be greatly missed here on Earth.
