Calvin E. Holland, longtime Shasta County resident, passed away on November 19, 2011 at Marquis Care Shasta in Redding, California. He was born on March 8,1932 in Leechville, Arkansas to Theodore and Myrtle Holland.
Calvin was well known for the fact that he could fix just about anything. He always had some sort of project in the works and spent a lot of time building and repairing things. He had a great love for animals especially is cat Bobby.
Calvin is survived by his wife Phyllis Holland whom he married on July 4, 1953 in Santa Rosa making this past July their 58th wedding anniversary. He is also survived by sons, Mark Holland and Glenn Holland ; daughter, Joan Holland; brothers, Warner Holland and Dean Holland; sister Billie DeDario and grandchildren, Grace, Christopher, Holland Jessica Jamison.
No formal services will be held. Calvin Holland will be laid to rest at Redding Memorial Park.
