Tio as I sit here and read everyone's message to you, I think of how many lives you touched; me personally. I feel privileged to say that you were the closest thing to a father-figure and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You taught me a lot of things, such as respect, strength, and the value of family. Tio, you always showed your love towards us; especially when we needed it the most.  Thank you for all the great qualities that you instilled in me. I know it was a long battle for you, but I feel comfort knowing that you no longer suffer, and you have graduated to a better life. It was an honor to call you tio and I look forward to calling you Tio when I see you again.

 CARMEN, JESSIE WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS YOU AND HIM HAVE ALWAYS TREATED ME WITH RESPECT,HE FOUGHT SUCH A LONG FIGHT TILL THE END, AND HE DID IT WITH DIGNITY. I KNOW ONE DAY WE WILL SEE HIM AGAIN GOD BLESS....RAMONE AND BETTY GARCIA..

We haven't been able to spend a lot of time together but the support of the Garcia Family is amazing.  It is a direct reflection of a strong Husband and Father Figure guiding his family down the right path.  The world will be a dimmer place with out you, but it will be forever touched and brighter for having you in it.  You will be missed, but never forgotten.

Although you have passed on to a resting place, your legacy will always be remember through your family and great accomplishments. When I think of you I think of wonderful things like the ranch, horses, the woods, fun family moments with you and my cousins, and endless summers in Red Bluff. You will live on through all our fondest memories.

I admire your strength courage and determination with your battle. It was such an inspiring fight and you did so much better than anyone I've ever heard of dealing with this. I hope your family and friends find peace and smile when they think of you.

although I spent only a brief amount of time about 13 years ago with your family, I always recall how welcoming and loving your dad was to me. I went to Mexico to visit your family and he paid for me to go and always made me feel apart of your family. He was truly a good man and I can see how he lives through both of you. I can't imagine the heartache you feel but I hope you find comfort knowing he touched so many lives, you were blessed to have him for a father and knowing he is at peace ❤ God bless the Garcia family, until you meet again.

Your courageous and challenging battle has been an inspiration to us all.  We will remember, and use as an example, your determined confrontation against tremendous odds during these past months.  We will miss your fighting spirit.  But most of all we will miss you.

As I work on getting all your service details together, I still can't believe that you are gone. I still can't believe that the day that I was so afraid of actually happened. I lost my best friend and I lost my daddy. It's been almost 2 weeks since I haven't heard your voice, 2 weeks I haven't seen your smile, 2 weeks I haven't seen your number on my recent call list, 2 weeks I haven't held you in my arms. It hurts me so much to realize it's only been 2 weeks and I miss you like crazy. Hurts me to think, this missing you has just begun. Each day is 1 day longer of not seeing you, but yet 1 day closer to see you again. I will never forget all the adventures we had. The advice and the teachings you gave me. Your my angel now. I know you are no longer suffering and that makes my heart happy, but I still miss you.
On my wedding day, as we danced our father daughter dance, you whispered to my ear," you will always be my babygirl, my Jay Jay, please never forget me. Never leave us(you&mom)" I told you, "I never could forget the man that taught me everything I know, the man that saw me take my first steps in life." I will keep that promise, I promise to never leave you, as you will always be in my heart. I will keep my promise to take care of mom, just like I told you. You watched me take my first breath and I watched you take your last. Gone but will never be forgotten. I love you, mi viejito chulo!

My heart goes out to the entire Garcia family.  Mr. Garcia was such a hero, and will be remembered as such. He fought a hard battle with amazing grace. I am so very sorry for your loss. Extending sincerest sympathy to all. And, Jessica, to you, I feel so deeply connected to you for having gone through this journey, one close to my own heart. You are a very loving and devoted daughter. Your dad was so lucky to have you help him every step of the way. Cherish the memories as they will help heal your heart over time. Much love ❤
