Ethel Kushner

December 25, 1920 - July 13, 2014

Ethel Kushner, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on July 13th at Marquis Shasta at the age of 93.

Ethel was born in Pennsylvania, moved to New York City with her large family of 12 brothers and sister. Ethel attended Hunter College and married Jack Kushner in 1944. They were together and in love until Jack's death in 2005. Ethel worked as a laboratory supervisor for Novatech in New York and won awards for her service to the company. She loved to paint, had an incredible green thumb, and a way with words.

Ethel was the loving mother of Rima Armogida and Richard Kushner, grandmother to Ilona Lanning, Ryan and Everett Kushner, and great grandmother to Owen and Gavin Lanning and sister of Magda McNulty.

She will be greatly missed.

The family will hold a small private, gathering to say goodbye on Friday July 18th and friends are invited to join in commemorating her long life at this time.
