So saddened to hear of Joanie's passing.  Prayers to the family.  I miss her in bible study and had not seen her on facebook or got email from her in a long time.  I had no idea she was ill.  She was always such a great lady!  I loved her bunches.  Godspeed my friend!

I have many great memories of Joan as a kid when we lived in Platina.
I know she will be greatly missed. Her and my mom were great friends when we were younger, and they passed just two days apart.

I know all of the family will miss this great lady. We had lots of fun going to Women in Timber events, no matter where it was. I had lost touch with her in the last few years. She is still in my thoughts and will be for years.  I remember the swimming lessons my kids got in Patina.

Aunt Joan was like Nana and Aunt Rose rolled into one beautiful loving Aunt,Dad adored his little sister and I was one lucky niece to be blessed by both. I loved going on hunting trips and spending time in Platina for the summers, Linda and I would spend hours singing on the swing set out back, crafting, and swimming with a warm lunch always waiting from Aunt Joan. Rest in peace Auntie, I Loved you dearly

My Aunt Joan, was a remarkable person, she truly loved all of us nieces and nephews, always had a smile on her face and opened arms when she greeted you, her family was so important the love of her life my Uncle Bill and her children. I love you Aunt Joan!!
