Larry was a proud, unique individual with a big heart who loved everyone and instantly connected with people from all walks of life.
He was extremely hard working, organized individual with high regards to quality workmanship including products used. His ability to effectively supervise and get the greatest production out of any crew was well known in the construction industry. His working environment included log truck driving in the early years, residential building, cement work and construction of commercial buildings. As a self-employed contractor, most of his work took him out-of-town (20 years) working on projects for family owned business, Nella Oil Company, building fuel stations and retail convenience stores called Flyers and Olympian throughout California.
He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles over the years and took several long road trips some with his wife, Janet. The special bond between motorcyclists was very special and gratifying.
