Dear Lorene and all of Lee's family,
Lee was the very first guitar player to accompany Megan Lynch and what an adventure that started. That was way back in 1979. Megan was five and the venue was Tiger Hall. Megan had only been playing fiddle for a couple of months and when she announced that she was going to play Twinkle Twinkle, she said "I only know half of it". I can still hear Lee say...."Well then, play half of it." It was so encouraging to her. That started many years of fiddling and fun with the California State Old Time Fiddlers, District 6. And every single time I asked Lee how he was, he'd say "Better now" with a big smile and a great big hug. We'll miss you, Lee. Fondly, Maria Nadauld (Megan's mommy)

Lee was a great source of information on playing guitar behind fiddles , a fantastic person , and better person to travel with could not be found .

It would be impossible to overstate the value of Lee’s contribution to our family. The untold hours of practicing with our daughter, the hundreds (if not thousands) of miles traveled to various contests and festivals; but the greatest contribution of all was his unfailing steadfastness and unfailing support over the past 45 years. His life was a beacon.

Lee was my guiding light into the world of fiddlin'........he was so special to young fiddlers as well as to us older folks. I know he is in a good place now.
