Louise 79, passed away on October 14, 2016 at home with family by her side.
Survived by loving husband Jim of 60 years and 4 loving children; Paul, Shirley, Davin and Scott along with her brother, Lloyd Stewart of Redding and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren all of which she adored and cherished.
Predeceased by her sister, Helen Almodova.
Both Louise and Jim were born and raised in Denver, CO, and moved to Southern California in the 1950's to start a family. Taking a job in 1969 brought the Laine's to Redding. Louise worked at several auto dealerships as a bookkeeper.
Mrs. Laine had a love for horses, crafting and porcelain doll making, as well as a beautiful park like property with numerous plants and flowers she established over the years. Her flowers grew like the many friendships that ran deep over the decades.
She is loved and will be missed by all.
Viewing is at McDonald's Chapel Thursday, October 27th 3pm to 7pm and Friday morning October 28th 8:30 to 10:30 prior to her service.
Service will be Friday, October 28th at 11 am at McDonald's Chapel in Redding, followed by a celebration of life at Mt. Shadows Mobile Home Estates Recreation room located at 4455 Hoopa Path, Redding, CA 96003.
