Even though the years drift away, I never took the time just to say, "I love You and I always have"..."Thank You for being my dad"...

Unfortunately, I never got to meet Lyle in person, but he touched my life just as deeply as if I had. He was a creative, encouraging and uplifting presence at and he will be missed. I will keep his family and friend in my prayers though out this difficult time, and hope that his presence is felt in a hundred happy ways as we all grieve his loss.

I only knew you through an online writing community, but I feel like you're a close friend. Thank you for your patience and example, your enthusiasm and pep-talks, your determination to make things better and help others. You are missed.

Lyle, you were a wonderful addition to the chat room. I can still remember many of our conversations and how you helped me with one of my stories. I'll miss your sense of humor and kind words.

A true gentleman, for all of time. Always thinking of you, Lyle. I wouldn't be the same without you. Keep that light shining and we will meet again one day.

My dear, crazy friend...although I never told you, I considered you one of my greatest mentors. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, your wit and your encouragement. I pray that your family will be comforted, and the lives you have touched will carry your legacy along by teaching others the things we learned from you. Much love...
