Michael S. Potter was born in Redding and raised in Hayfork, CA. He went to Hayfork High School and was extremely good in playing football, baseball and swimming. Michael worked as a delivery driver most of his adult life. He met the love of his life, Dovie in 1985 They married in February 1989. Both sons, Matthew and Jessie) say that their dad was fantastic
and their best friend. Michael loved to tease, had a great sense of humor and always wanted to make people smile.
He was a "big teddy bear."
