Bob was the only true war hero that I knew personally.   I used to work at Harvest Printing where he would come in monthly with his Purple Heart reminder cards which I would do personally so we could get him a great deal.   Throughout the years 15- 20 ( I’m not sure).   I knew Dee and visited them. Attended her funeral.  I loved all his banks and bless his heart did one for my grandson and a pig bride and groom for my son’s wedding.     I am originally from North Dakota so we often talked about the oil fields.   My husband and I traveled in our RV and took cruises and would alway have to show him our pictures.  I will truly miss hearing his war stories.  He always insisted he wasn’t.  I attended Purple Heart dedications.    I want to thank you all his family for sharing him with me since my Dad passed when I was eleven.    These years and visits have been precious to me.   I know you will be having interment on the 15th.  Is that open to friends also.? Please let me know!   Lois Dodson
