Robert Eugene Mote

Robert (Bob) passed away at the Riverside Care Facility in Chico, CA. He had been ill for many months. Bob was from McAlester, Oklahoma. He graduated from Haileyville High School. After high school he joined the Air Force- Military Police, for two years. He then lived in Vallejo for a few years; then moved to Redding in about 1963. A few of the places he worked were Paul Bunyon, The Cordial Room, Oak Grove, Clover Club, Lulu's, and Pay N' Save. Bob also like sports- SF Giants baseball, 49ers Football, golf, and bowling. He was a past president of the Shasta Niners Club. Survivors include his wife, Lynell ( 47 years married), son Robert Dean Mote; son George F. Mote; (both from a previous marriage) sister Audrey Mouer, from Modesto, CA.; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandsons, several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at Redding Memorial Park July, 28th at 11am.

Deepest condolences to Bobs entire family!!! He was a great step-dad to me many years ago. I’ll remember him fondly forever. R.I.P. “Pop’s”❤️
