My heart is breaking thinking of all of you and all of us without Rod. I will always remember all the great times at the pizza parlor and Gregory being with you guys so many nights, I will always remember all the fun times we had at school.  Rod brought so much life into everything he touched. He taught me how to make fry bread  and so much more. I appreciate all you did for our family when we first started coming up in the 70’s. Hanging out at Lindsay’s with you and the bus drivers. Almost 40 years have gone by and it seems like yesterday. I will miss you dearly but you will never be forgotten. We have so many memories. Thanks for believing in me and for making me Citizen of the year. Thanks for everything you did for our youth and our community. RIP my friend and fly high with the eagles until we meet again.............

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Cindy and family.  Rod was a beautiful man.  I remember when he burned sage around my father's shop after his death.  I hope they find each other in the after life. 

I have some great memories of playing fast pitch softball with Rod (RED WHEELS), excellent ball player with an infectious spirt that could lift and did lift our team during bad games. Rod was a civic minded man, to community and his native heritage, always involved, our community has lost a great warrior. Rest In Peace brother, Robin Burns
